Directions to Middle of Nowhere

From Kansas City:  Take Interstate 35 North to exit 61 and go East towards Jamesport/Trenton.  Continue past Trenton approx 13 miles.  One mile on the East side of Galt, take Hwy 139 North (left turn).  Follow this for approx 12 miles to the town of Harris.  On the North end of Harris, take Hwy E to the right (crossing railroad tracks).  Go 5 miles to the Jct of Hwy WW and go left (West).  Go 1 mile and the ranges will be on your right hand side.

From Kirksville:  Take Hwy 6 to Milan and then take Hwy E North (right turn)  Continue on this for approx 13 miles NOTE:  Hwy E makes a 90 degree turn to the right about 4 miles out of Milan.  Continue on Hwy E until the Jct of Hwy WW and go left (West).  Go 1 mile and the ranges will be on your right hand side.

From Chillicothe:  Take Hwy V North to the Jct of Hwy 6 and go left (East).  Go through the town of Galt.  One mile on the East side of Galt, take Hwy 139 North (left turn).  Follow this for approx 12 miles to the town of Harris.  On the North end of Harris, take Hwy E to the right (crossing railroad tracks).  Go 5 miles to the Jct of Hwy WW and go left (West).  Go 1 mile and the ranges will be on your right hand side.

NOTE TO ALL:  MAPQUEST shows Bear Drive connecting between Hwy E and Hwy WW.  IT DOES NOT.  You may only access Bear Drive from Hwy WW.
